ShipStation Connector Features

ShipStation is a leading multi-carrier shipping platform that lets merchants compare rates, print labels, and track shipments across dozens of carriers from a single dashboard. By connecting ShipStation with Odoo using the TeqStars ShipStation Connector, you can automate the day-to-day flow of stores, carriers, services, products, orders, shipments, labels, and tracking between ShipStation and your ERP, removing manual data entry and keeping both systems in sync.

Supported Features

  • Account Management

    • Connect one or many ShipStation accounts to a single Odoo database. Each account uses its own credentials and shows up on a kanban dashboard with a 6-week sales bar graph.

    • The same credentials cannot be added twice on the same database.

  • Store Synchronization

    • Import every ShipStation store (Amazon, eBay, Shopify, BigCommerce, manual, etc.) along with name, integration URL, e-mail, phone, website, and active state.

    • Reactivate and Deactivate stores from Odoo, and push store details back to ShipStation.

  • Carrier, Service, and Package Catalogue

    • Import all carriers configured in your ShipStation account (FedEx, UPS, USPS, DHL Express, Stamps.com, etc.) with account number, balance, and the requires funded account indicator.

    • Per-carrier service catalogue (e.g. FedEx Ground, UPS Next Day Air) with domestic and international flags.

    • Per-carrier package templates linked to Odoo stock package types so dimensions can be reused at rate and label time.

    • Refresh button updates the live balance of any carrier.

    • Add Funds wizard tops up prepaid carriers (Stamps.com / Endicia-style accounts that need a positive balance to print labels).

  • Warehouse Mapping

    • Pull warehouses from ShipStation and link each to an Odoo stock warehouse, with separate Origin and Return addresses.

  • Product Catalogue

    • Bulk product import with name, internal reference, dimensions and weight.

    • Optional Automatic Product Creation: when a ShipStation item has no Odoo match, the connector creates the Odoo product automatically.

  • Sales Order Import

    • Import ShipStation orders that are waiting for shipment as confirmed Odoo sale orders, with billing and shipping partner matching and incremental imports based on the last-import date (with a 3-day overlap to catch late updates).

    • Shipping charges are added as a line using the account’s Shipping Product.

  • Delivery Order Export

    • Push validated outgoing deliveries to ShipStation as new orders, including items, addresses, warehouse, store, dimensions, insurance, international fields, and your sale-order reference as a custom field.

  • Live Shipping Rate Lookup

    • When a customer or salesperson picks a ShipStation delivery method, the connector queries ShipStation and returns the live carrier price for the chosen carrier, service, and package.

  • Label Generation

    • Generate the shipping label from Odoo. The label PDF is attached to the delivery order chatter together with the tracking number.

  • Tracking & Status Sync

    • Pull shipment status and tracking from ShipStation, populate the carrier tracking reference on the delivery order, and auto-validate the delivery when ShipStation reports the parcel as shipped. Cancelled ShipStation orders auto-cancel the related Odoo delivery order.

  • Label Cancellation

    • Void an already-printed label from Odoo.

  • International Shipments

    • Content type (merchandise, documents, gift, returned goods, sample), non-delivery option (return to sender, treat as abandoned), and customs items auto-built from the delivery lines.

  • Insurance & Confirmation

    • Insurance providers: ParcelGuard, Shipsurance, Carrier, or Provider.

    • Delivery confirmation: none, delivery, signature, adult signature, or direct signature.

    • Residential Address flag passed through to the carrier rating engine.

  • Multi-Step Warehouse Support

    • Validating an internal transfer (pick / pack) automatically triggers status sync and, when needed, exports the related outgoing delivery to ShipStation. Backorders inherit the exported mark so they are not pushed a second time.

  • Activity Log

    • Every action sent to ShipStation is captured in a dedicated log view with the full request and response, the user who triggered it, and a sequence number. Old log entries are cleaned up automatically after 10 days.

  • Automation

    • Three scheduled actions, off by default with a 1-day interval: Auto Order Import, Auto Order Export, Auto Import Shipment Details.
