Step 3: Multi-Currency Merchant Accounts

If your store sells in multiple currencies, Braintree requires transactions to be routed to specific Merchant Account IDs created for each currency.

Configuration Steps

  1. Open your Braintree Provider form (Braintree - Cards or Braintree - ACH).

  2. Enable the Multi Currency checkbox.

  3. Under the Merchant Accounts table, click Add a line.

  4. Select the Odoo Currency (e.g., EUR, GBP, CAD) and enter the corresponding Braintree Merchant Account ID.

  5. Click the Validate (check mark) button next to each line. The connector calls Braintree to verify that the Merchant Account ID is valid and active on your account.

Note

If Multi Currency is disabled, the system uses the single Default Merchant Account ID configured on the form.
