  • Security fix: Made sure tools can only access models allowed by the connection, even when models are found indirectly. Any restricted model is blocked before the query runs.

  • Fixed “Access Error” shown to MCP Administrator users when opening Event Subscription and Connection records.

  • Improved compatibility with the latest versions of Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor and other AI tools.

  • Fixed “Connect” failing with a server error when an AI tool registers itself, on servers that use a database replica.

  • The connection URL is unchanged, and existing connections keep working exactly as before.

  • A mistyped database name in a connection URL is now refused, instead of being answered by the wrong database.

  • Connection failures now state the reason in the Odoo log, so admins can see why an AI tool could not connect.

  • Fixed the MCP Server going quiet after its settings record was archived.

  • Fixed claude.ai connector “Authorization failed” error by adding RFC 9728 path-scoped protected-resource discovery route.

  • Blocked non-MCP-group users from OAuth consent and MCP tool calls: /oauth/authorize (GET + POST) and /odoo/mcp now require “MCP User” or “MCP Administrator” group.

  • Restricted user-picker dropdowns to active internal users in MCP User/Administrator group on Connection, Session, Prompt, Page, Event, Access Rule, and Connection wizard.
