New Metaobject entries created in Odoo are automatically added to Shopify when syncing a listing.
Improved Shopify inventory imports using Bulk Operations for faster and more efficient processing of large inventories.
Fixed duplicate products in Shopify when listings were exported or updated again while their bulk operation was not finished. Listings still in a pending bulk operation are now skipped and written to the log. If all selected listings are pending, an error asks the user to wait or process the bulk result.
Added the Fetch & Process Result button on the Shopify bulk query for operations with 80 listings or fewer, to fetch the Shopify status and process the result in one click. Larger operations keep Fetch Bulk Queue Status and Process Manually.
Added Activate Shopify Locations to make existing products available at all enabled Shopify locations.
Fixed location activation when exporting 3 or fewer listings directly in one step, ensuring stock is available at all enabled Shopify locations.

Shopify Customer ID Matching: The Shopify Customer ID is stored in Odoo and used as the primary identifier when importing subsequent orders. This ensures that existing customers are reused instead of creating duplicate records.
Fallback Customer Matching: If no customer is found using the Shopify Customer ID, the connector searches using Tax ID and country, followed by customer name and address. Once a match is found, the Shopify Customer ID is saved on the existing customer record.
Tax ID Assignment: When Create Company Contact is enabled and the billing address contains a company name, the Tax ID is assigned to the billing company. Otherwise, it is assigned to the main customer. Tax IDs are never assigned to shipping addresses.
Existing Tax ID Preservation: If the main customer already has a Tax ID and a subsequent order includes a billing company, the existing Tax ID remains on the main customer and is not assigned to the billing company.
Tax ID Conflict Handling: Existing Tax IDs are never overwritten. If the existing customer already has a Tax ID and Shopify provides a different one, the connector creates a new customer record. If no Tax ID is provided, the existing customer is reused.
Normalized Tax ID Comparison: Tax ID matching is case-insensitive and ignores spaces. For example, ro123456 and RO 123456 are treated as identical.
Company Matching: Existing companies are identified using company name and Tax ID first, followed by company name only if no match is found. Company name matching is case-insensitive.
Customer Information Updates: Changes to a customer’s name, email, phone number, or address in Shopify are updated in the corresponding Odoo customer record on the next order or customer import.
Independent Contact Addresses: Individual contacts associated with a company are created using the Other address type. This ensures that updating an individual’s address does not modify the company’s address or the addresses of other associated contacts.
Added an error message when an entered ID cannot be found in Shopify during an import operation for orders, customers, listings, or catalogs.
Support multi-database image and webhook URLs without a database filter.
