Readiness State¶

Readiness State (also called processing profile) defines how long it takes you to prepare an order before it ships — for example Ready in 1–3 business days or Made to order in 2–4 weeks. Etsy shows this time to buyers so they know when to expect their item.

The connector imports your Etsy readiness state definitions into Odoo so you can apply the correct processing time when exporting a listing.

What Odoo imports¶

For each readiness state defined on your Etsy shop, Odoo imports:

Display Label — the processing-time label shown to buyers (e.g. Ready to ship in 1–3 business days).
State Type — either Ready to Ship (item is pre-made) or Made to Order (item is made after purchase).
Min Days and Max Days — the minimum and maximum number of business days needed to process and ship the listing.

How to maintain it¶

Readiness states are defined on Etsy and imported into Odoo — you do not create them manually in Odoo.
Re-run the Master Data import whenever you add or change a processing-time definition on Etsy.
Select the correct readiness state on a product before exporting it. You can also set a Default Readiness State on the instance to apply automatically to new listings (see Create an Etsy instance in Odoo).

Accurate processing times help avoid late-shipment penalties on Etsy and set realistic expectations for buyers.
