General & Compatibility

Is this application compatible with both Odoo Enterprise and Community editions?

Yes. The connector works with Odoo Enterprise (On-Premise and Odoo.sh) and Odoo Community. It does not work with Odoo Online (SaaS), which does not allow third-party custom modules.

Does the module require any external Python package dependencies?

No. The module uses standard Odoo core frameworks (mail, base) and requires no additional third-party Python library installations on your server.

Configuration & Tokens

What happens if I click "Refresh Security Token"?

Regenerating the token revokes the previous access key. Any existing Google Sheet using the old token will stop syncing until you click **Genera

Can I connect multiple Google Sheets to one Odoo database?

Yes. You can create multiple connection accounts in Odoo, each with its own Access Token, allowed models, and domain filters, or use the same connection script across multiple spreadsheets.

Data Sync & Operations

How are Many2one relational fields handled during Push?

During fetch, Many2one fields display the record’s display name. During push, Odoo uses name-matching to automatically link the text value back to the correct Odoo record ID.

What happens if I push a new row without an ID?

Rows without an id value are treated as new records. Odoo creates the record and automatically writes the newly generated Odoo ID back into the id cell in Google Sheets.

Why is the minimum scheduled refresh interval 15 minutes?

This is a technical limitation enforced by Google Apps Script’s time-driven trigger quotas.
