Released: July 22, 2026

  • Tax Name Format: added a new “County” line type and a “County” field next to the Address. The county is resolved automatically when selecting the Address (from already synced rates, otherwise fetched live from TaxJar by ZIP code), can be re-synced with the “Sync County” button, or typed manually. The preview uses it for the County line type. The county name returned by TaxJar (e.g. San Diego) is now stored on the synced tax rates and can be used in generated tax names. The preview resolves the county from already-synced rates for the selected address, and falls back to the line’s Value as a sample. Counties appear on rates as they sync/refresh.

  • Corrected the “Country” naming to “County” for the tax breakdown format. US sales tax has four jurisdiction levels (State, County, City, Special District); the old field was always applied to the county tax rate — only the naming was wrong. A new “County” format field was added on the TaxJar account and the old field is kept hidden for reference; a migration copies the existing configuration into the new field and renames the default “Country Tax Format” data to “County Tax Format”.

  • Added “Activity Assigned To” users on the TaxJar account. If an invoice fails to export to TaxJar, a “TaxJar Export Error” activity is created on the invoice and assigned to the selected users (no duplicates), and the export continues with the remaining invoices.

  • Shipping line is now exported to TaxJar as part of the transaction.

  • Bulk export wizard: added date validation so the “From Date” can no longer be later than the “To Date”.
