    • The connector synchronizes data between Odoo and Etsy through manual operations and scheduled actions.

    • Import operations bring Master Data (categories, attribute properties and values, shipping profiles, return policies, and readiness states), listings, and orders from Etsy into Odoo.

    • Export operations push listings (create and update), stock and prices, and tracking details from Odoo to Etsy.

  • Master Data Management

    • Maintain Etsy reference data directly in Odoo for accurate listing creation and order processing:

      • Product Categories: Etsy Category used to classify listings. The selected category determines which attributes (item specifics) are available for a listing.

      • Product Attribute Mapping and Product Attribute Value Mapping: Link Odoo product attributes and their values to Etsy attributes (item specifics). Mappings are supported at both global level (applies across all categories) and category-specific level. When category attributes and values are fetched from Etsy, the connector auto-maps them by matching Etsy names to existing Odoo attributes and values; unmatched entries are created so you can link them manually.

      • Shipping Profiles: Etsy shop shipping profiles imported. Each profile stores the origin country and postal code, profile type and domestic and international handling fees, along with its shipping destinations and shipping upgrades.

      • Return Policy: Etsy shop return policies imported. Each policy stores whether returns are accepted, whether exchanges are accepted, and the return deadline.

      • Readiness State: Etsy readiness state definitions imported. Each definition stores the processing-days display label, the state type (Ready to Ship or Made to Order), and the minimum and maximum processing days.

      • Tags: Etsy listing tags used for search and discovery.

  • Product / Listing Management

    • The connector facilitates the synchronization of product information between Odoo and Etsy. This includes title, description, SKU, barcode, price, inventory quantity, variants (mapped through attribute and attribute-value mapping), images, Etsy category, listing attributes (Who Made, When Made, Is Supply), tags, shipping profile, and readiness state.

    • Full listing lifecycle management directly from Odoo: Import, Export, Update Listings, and Update Stock & Prices. Listings support both active and draft states.

  • Order Management

    • The connector seamlessly transfers orders placed on Etsy to Odoo, allowing businesses to manage order fulfillment, invoicing, and shipment directly within the Odoo ERP system. It also enables payment and order status to be sent back to Etsy, keeping both systems in sync.

    • Stock quantities and prices are exported together from Odoo to Etsy. Etsy has updates both the price and the quantity for each variant offering of a listing.

    • Quantities are taken from the warehouse configured on the instance, while prices come from the instance pricelist (or the product’s sale price when enabled). Stock and prices can be updated manually or automatically through scheduled actions, keeping marketplace inventory accurate and preventing overselling.

  • Customer Management

    • Customer records are created automatically in Odoo when their orders are imported. Etsy provides a single buyer/shipping address per order, used for both billing and shipping. Buyers are matched against existing contacts to avoid duplicates and are tagged with an Etsy customer category for easy identification.
