Walmart Supported Marketplaces¶
The Odoo Walmart Connector supports four Walmart marketplaces: United States, Canada, Mexico, and Chile. You choose the marketplace when you create the instance, using the Marketplace Region field.
Walmart does not offer the same APIs in every marketplace, so some connector features are unavailable in some of them.

Currency Per Marketplace¶
Each marketplace trades in its own currency. The connector uses the currency below when it imports orders and settlement amounts.

Important
Make sure the currency of your marketplace exists and is active in Odoo, and that the pricelist you set on the instance uses it.
How Marketplace Limits Appear In Odoo¶
The connector hides whatever your marketplace cannot do:
Operations you cannot run do not appear. The Operations popup only lists the operations your marketplace supports, so a Canadian instance shows a shorter list than a United States instance.
Tabs you cannot use do not appear. The Settlement and Webhook tabs on the instance are shown for the United States only.
Catalog menus stay empty. The menus are filled by the United States catalog import only.
Things To Know Before You Choose A Region¶
Important
The Marketplace Region cannot be changed after the instance is saved. The field becomes read-only once the record exists. If you picked the wrong region, create a new instance with the correct one.
Important
Canada has no sandbox. If you set the environment to Sandbox on a Canadian instance, Odoo blocks the save with this message:
Walmart does not provide a sandbox environment for Canada. Please switch the environment to Production.
Use Production for Canada. The United States, Mexico, and Chile all have a sandbox.
Note
Each instance connects to exactly one marketplace. To sell in more than one Walmart marketplace, create one instance per marketplace, each with its own credentials.
What You Can Do In Your Marketplace¶
United States¶
Everything in this documentation applies. Start with Create Walmart Instance In Odoo, then read Import Walmart Product Types In Odoo before you export any product, because Walmart requires a product type and its attributes before it will create a listing.
Canada¶
Order import, listing import, price, inventory, tracking export, and returns import all work, including WFS. You cannot create or update listings from Odoo, and you cannot issue refunds from Odoo, so list your products in Seller Center and issue refunds there. The catalog, settlement, and webhook pages do not apply.
Mexico¶
The same as Canada, with one addition: you can issue refunds from Odoo. The catalog, settlement, and webhook pages do not apply.
Chile¶
Order import, listing import, price, inventory, tracking export, and returns import all work. WFS inventory is imported, but WFS orders are not, because Walmart does not provide a WFS orders feed for Chile. You cannot create or update listings from Odoo, and you cannot issue refunds from Odoo. The catalog, settlement, and webhook pages do not apply.
