Export Inventory From Odoo

  • Exporting inventory from Odoo to TikTok Shop ensures that your TikTok Shop products always reflect the correct stock levels from your Odoo warehouse, so TikTok Shop sells no more than you can ship.

Note

This applies to stock you hold. Stock held by TikTok Shop for Fulfilled by TikTok is never exported — TikTok Shop holds that stock and is the source of truth for it, so the connector imports it instead. See Import FBT Inventory In Odoo.

Important

Every TikTok warehouse that exchanges stock needs its Stock Location filled in. A warehouse without one is left out of the export; when no warehouse has one, the export stops and the log names each of them. See TikTok Warehouses.

Which Quantity Is Sent

The quantity comes from the Stock Based On setting on the instance:

  • Free To Use Quantity: Quantity on Hand − Reserved Quantity

  • Quantity On Hand

  • Forecasted Quantity: Quantity on Hand − Outgoing + Incoming

It is counted in the Stock Location of each TikTok warehouse, and only for the products whose stock has moved since the last export.

Note

Which warehouses a product is stocked in is TikTok Shop’s to say. What TikTok Shop holds is read first and those warehouses are the ones sent back: a warehouse left out of a send is emptied, and one added to it is refused. A product TikTok Shop does not hold at all is reported and left out.

Method - 1: Manual Inventory Export

For Multiple Listings

  1. Go to the Marketplaces ‣ Overview menu in Odoo.

  2. Click on the Operations button from the instance record.

  3. Select Export Operation and then select Export Inventory option.

  4. Press PROCESS button.

For Single Listings

  1. Go to Marketplaces ‣ Listing ‣ All Listing and select the listing.

  2. Click Export/Update to Marketplace, enable Set Quantity?, and click Update Listing. See Update Products From Odoo.

Method - 2: Automatic Inventory Export

  1. Go to your TikTok Shop instance setting by navigating to Marketplaces ‣ Configuration ‣ Instance.

  2. On the Automatic Jobs tab, configure the Export Product’s Inventory job by setting Interval Number, Interval Unit, and then Active.

Stock moves far more often than price, so this scheduled action runs every 30 minutes by default. See Automatic Jobs.

Important

Keep this scheduled action active. Stale stock on TikTok Shop leads to overselling and cancellations.
