Attribute Mapping¶
TikTok Shop names the attributes a product varies by —
Color,Size— and Odoo has attributes of its own. An attribute mapping says which Odoo attribute stands for which TikTok Shop attribute name. The mappings are created when a category’s attributes are fetched, and matched to your Odoo attributes by name where a name matches.
A variant attribute that is not mapped leaves the listing unexportable, so check the mappings before your first export.
Attribute Mappings¶

Map An Attribute¶
Go to .
Click the Odoo Attribute cell of a row and pick the Odoo attribute that stands for it.
Save.
Each row carries:
Name: the TikTok Shop attribute name, as it appears across categories. One mapping covers every category that uses that name.
Odoo Attribute: the Odoo attribute used for it. Setting it refreshes the value mappings underneath, so the values can be matched next — see Attribute Value Mapping.
Tip
The Not Mapped Yet filter shows the attributes still waiting for an Odoo attribute, and the Odoo Attribute group-by shows what each Odoo attribute is covering.
Note
The mappings belong to an instance, so two shops can map the same TikTok Shop attribute name to different Odoo attributes.
Important
Map the attribute first and its values afterwards: the values a mapping accepts are the values of the Odoo attribute it points at, so nothing can be matched until the attribute is set.
