Return Policy¶

A Return Policy tells buyers whether you accept returns or exchanges and within how many days. Etsy lets you save one or more return policies and assign them to your listings.

The connector imports your Etsy return policies into Odoo so you can attach the right policy to a listing during export.

What Odoo imports¶

For each return policy on your Etsy shop, Odoo imports:

Accept Returns — whether buyers can return items under this policy.
Accept Exchanges — whether buyers can exchange items under this policy.
Return Deadline (Days) — the number of days the buyer has to return or exchange an item.

You can browse the imported policies from Etsy ‣ Return ‣ Return Policy.

How to maintain it¶

Return policies are created and edited on Etsy and imported into Odoo — you do not create them manually in Odoo.
Re-run the Master Data import whenever you add or change a policy on Etsy.
Select the correct return policy on a product before exporting it as a listing.

A clear return policy builds buyer trust and is required for many Etsy listing categories.
