Import FBT Inventory In Odoo

  • With Fulfilled by TikTok (FBT), TikTok Shop holds your goods in its own warehouses and ships them for you. Importing FBT inventory reads how much it holds, so you can see that stock in Odoo without it being counted as stock you can ship.

  • What is held is written to the FBT Warehouse of the instance — see Configurations.

Note

The operation and its scheduled action exist only on an instance whose shop is registered for Fulfilled by TikTok and whose Fulfillment Type is Fulfilled by TikTok or Both. The import is refused while the instance has no FBT Warehouse.

Method - 1: Manual FBT Inventory Import

  1. Go to the Marketplaces ‣ Overview menu in Odoo.

  2. Click on the Operations button from the instance record.

  3. Select Import Operation and then select Import FBT Inventory option.

  4. Press PROCESS button.

Method - 2: Automatic FBT Inventory Import

  1. Go to your TikTok Shop instance setting by navigating to Marketplaces ‣ Configuration ‣ Instance.

  2. On the Automatic Jobs tab, configure the Import FBT Inventory job by setting Interval Number, Interval Unit, and then Active.

This scheduled action is created inactive and runs once a day by default. See Automatic Jobs.

What Is Written

  • Only what can still be sold is written; what is already spoken for is left out.

  • A quantity held in a warehouse that is mapped to a stock location is written to that location. What TikTok Shop holds elsewhere is written to the stock location of the instance’s FBT Warehouse.

  • The quantities are applied as an inventory adjustment, validated automatically when Validate Inventory Adjustment? is enabled.

  • The run updates Last FBT Stock Imported On on the instance.

Note

FBT stock is never exported back to TikTok Shop. The inventory export covers the warehouses you ship from only. See Export Inventory From Odoo.
