Import Products in Odoo

The Bol.com Odoo Connector imports your Bol.com offers/products into Odoo as Listings and Listing Items, optionally creating Odoo products when no match is found.

  • Before importing, configure Product configuration on the instance, especially Sync Listings Based On and Create Odoo Products?.

  • Imports run manually from the Operations popup. The connector queues the offers/products and a scheduled background job processes them.

How To Import Offers/Products

  • Before importing products, it’s necessary to configure certain product configuration in the Instance.

  • To import products in Odoo from Bol, please follow these steps.

  1. Go to the Marketplaces ‣ Overview menu in Odoo.

  2. Click on the Operations button from the instance record.

  3. Select FBR & FBB and then select Sync Offer/Products option.

  4. Configure the optional flags:

    • Update Existing Product?: When enabled, refresh existing Odoo Listings/Listing Items with the latest data from Bol.com. When disabled, only new listings are created.

    • Update Price?: Available only when Update Existing Listing? is enabled. Updates the listing item price in the instance pricelist while importing.

  5. Click PROCESS.

What Happens Next

  • The connector fetches offers/products from Bol.com and adds them to the Product Queue.

  • A scheduled job processes queued lines, creates the corresponding Odoo Listings and Listing Items, and links them to existing Odoo products via Sync Listings Based On.

  • If no Odoo product matches and Create Odoo Products? is enabled on the instance, a new product is created automatically. Otherwise the line is skipped and a log entry is written.

  • Find queue and log details under Marketplaces ‣ Queues ‣ Queues and Marketplaces ‣ Queues ‣ Logs.

  • The Last Processed On tab on the instance is updated after each successful run.

Important

  • Offer matching is driven by Sync Listings Based On (Barcode is recommended).

  • When Create Odoo Products? is disabled and no match is found, the import is skipped for that offer and recorded in the logs.
