Manufacturers And Responsible Persons¶
European product-safety rules ask a listing to name the manufacturer of the goods and the responsible person who answers for them in the European Union. TikTok Shop keeps both as registers on the shop, and a category says whether a product must name them.
The two registers are imported when the instance is confirmed, and can be imported again at any time from the Operations of the instance. There is no scheduled action for this.
Important
The operation, the registers and the two fields on a listing are offered to shops trading in Germany, Spain, France, Ireland and Italy only. Everywhere else TikTok Shop asks for neither. See TikTok Shop Supported Markets.
Import Manufacturers And Responsible Persons¶
Go to the menu in Odoo.
Click on the
Operationsbutton from the instance record.
Select Import Operation and then select Import Manufacturers & Responsible Persons option.
Press
PROCESSbutton.
Both registers are read in one run and listed under .
Manufacturers¶
The manufacturers are listed under .
Each entry carries what TikTok Shop holds for it: Name, Registered Trade Name, Email, Phone, the Address as one line, and the Locale the contact details are written in.
Responsible Persons¶
The responsible persons are listed under .
Each entry carries its Name, Email, Phone, Street, Zip, Country and Locale.
Name Them On A Listing¶
A listing whose category has Manufacturer Required? or Responsible Person Required? set shows the Manufacturers or Responsible Persons field on its TikTok tab, and only the entries imported for that instance can be chosen. The category rules are read with the rest of the category metadata — see Import Category Attributes, Brands & Rules.
Note
The registers are read from TikTok Shop and cannot be created in Odoo. Add a new manufacturer or responsible person in TikTok Shop Seller Center, then import the registers again.
