BigCommerce Connector Features¶
BigCommerce is a powerful SaaS commerce platform that lets merchants run online stores at scale. By connecting BigCommerce with Odoo using the Odoo BigCommerce Connector, you can automate the day-to-day flow of listings, inventory, orders, refunds, and fulfillment between your store and your ERP, removing manual data entry and keeping both systems in sync.
Supported Features¶
- Data Synchronization
The connector keeps catalog, inventory, orders, and customer data aligned between Odoo and BigCommerce, eliminating duplicate data entry across the two systems.
- Inventory Management
Centralized inventory management with multi-location support. Stock can be imported from BigCommerce locations and exported back from one or more Odoo stock locations.
- Product Management
The connector synchronizes product information between Odoo and BigCommerce, including description, SKU, price, weight, inventory, variants, attributes, images, categories, brand, tax class, and sales-channel publications.
- Order Management
Orders placed on BigCommerce are imported into Odoo for fulfillment, invoicing, and accounting.
If one BigCommerce order contains multiple shipping addresses, the connector creates multiple Delivery Orders in Odoo, with one Delivery Order per shipping address.
Tracking information is sent back to BigCommerce when a delivery is validated, and BigCommerce shipments can also be pulled back into Odoo to auto-validate matching Delivery Orders with carrier and tracking details.
Partial shipments follow BigCommerce’s per-line shipped quantities, so already shipped quantities are not treated as all-or-nothing fulfillment in Odoo.
Gift certificates and custom non-catalog items are imported safely using configured fallback products, so these order types do not block the order import.
Cancel orders directly from Odoo with a cancellation reason and the option to push a refund alongside the cancellation.
The connector offers seamless refund and partial refund processing directly from the Odoo ERP system.
Mark orders as paid in BigCommerce from Odoo when payment is captured outside the BigCommerce gateway.
Each order is processed by an order workflow that can confirm, invoice, validate, and register payment automatically based on the BigCommerce payment gateway and payment status.
- Customer Management
Customers (billing, shipping, and optional company contacts) are created automatically when their orders are imported, with address matching to avoid duplicate contacts and per-address contact creation for multi-destination orders.
- Sales Channels (Publications)
BigCommerce sales channels are imported during instance setup and used to publish or unpublish listings on selected channels during product export and update operations, without disturbing existing assignments on other channels.
- Multi Store Selling
The connector supports multiple BigCommerce stores by allowing you to create one Instance per store, with all data centralized in a single Odoo database.
- Reporting and Analytics
Sales, inventory, and customer data from BigCommerce flow into Odoo, where standard Odoo reports and dashboards can be used for analysis and decision-making.
- Automation and Workflow
Schedule order import, inventory import/export, price export, and tracking export with per-instance scheduled actions.
Order processing workflows automate confirmation, invoicing, and payment registration so imported orders move through the cycle without manual steps.
- Shipping and Tracking
When an order is fulfilled in Odoo the connector automatically updates the fulfillment status and tracking information in BigCommerce.
Automatically importing shipment information from BigCommerce to Odoo and marking order as shipped in Odoo with specified delivery carrier and tracking number (for already imported not shipped orders).
Additionally, upon importing shipped orders, the connector creates corresponding stock moves in Odoo.

Benefits¶
- Centralized Operations
Listings, orders, inventory, and customers are managed from a single Odoo backend, eliminating manual re-entry between BigCommerce and your ERP.
Multi-store ready — connect more than one BigCommerce store to the same Odoo database by creating a separate Instance per store.
- Accurate Inventory
Bi-directional stock sync keeps BigCommerce locations aligned with Odoo on-hand quantities, reducing oversells and stockouts.
Per-location toggles let you exclude warehouses or third-party fulfillment locations from the sync.
- Faster Order Fulfillment
Orders flow into Odoo automatically and follow a configurable workflow that confirms, invoices, and registers payment without human intervention.
Tracking numbers and fulfillment status flow back to BigCommerce as soon as the Delivery Order is validated.
- Clean Customer Records
Address matching avoids duplicate contacts, and the optional Create Company Contact toggle keeps B2B order records well-organized.
- Better Decisions
With orders, inventory, and listings consolidated in Odoo, you can drive reports, dashboards, and accounting from a single, consistent dataset.
Conclusion¶
The BigCommerce Odoo Connector turns BigCommerce into a managed channel inside Odoo. Listings, inventory, orders, refunds, and fulfillment all stay synchronized with minimal manual effort, freeing your team to focus on customer experience and growth instead of data entry.
Note
The connector works with any BigCommerce store that supports Store API Accounts, using the long-lived Access Token issued for that account.
Note
Only the operations described above are synchronized by the connector. Anything outside that scope (storefront content, theme changes, app store apps, etc.) must still be managed from BigCommerce.
