BigCommerce Tax Classes

Tax classes group products that share the same tax rules in your BigCommerce store. The connector brings your BigCommerce tax classes into Odoo. You can view them in Odoo and pick one for each listing before you export it to BigCommerce.

Import tax classes with the store metadata

You do not need to create tax classes by hand. The connector imports them with the rest of your store metadata.

  1. Go to Marketplaces ‣ Configuration ‣ Instances and open your BigCommerce instance.

  2. Click Test Connection to check your store credentials.

  3. Click Confirm.

When you confirm the instance, the connector imports your categories, brands, sales channels, locations, order statuses and tax classes.

Note

The BigCommerce Metadata Synced option on the instance shows that this metadata, tax classes included, has been synced at least once.

Tax Classes list

Open the list to see every tax class the connector has imported.

  • Default Tax Class: Shows which tax class is the default one in your BigCommerce store.
