Brevo Connector FAQs

These frequently asked questions cover the most common setup and synchronization topics for the Odoo Brevo Connector (formerly Sendinblue). For a full feature list and sync matrix, see Brevo Connector Features.

Getting Started

A single API key from your Brevo account (SMTP & API ‣ API Keys). See Connect Your Brevo Account.

Yes. The Quick Setup wizard connects, maps fields and links your lists in five steps. See Quick Setup Wizard.

Yes. Create one account per API key in Email Marketing ‣ Brevo ‣ Accounts. Each account keeps its own lists, campaigns and settings.

The connector depends on Email Marketing (every Brevo list becomes a native mailing list) and Sales (for exporting orders to Brevo).

Lists, Folders & Contacts

By email. When a contact is not found and Auto Create Member? is enabled, Odoo creates a mailing contact (and a customer too, if Auto Create Customers In Odoo? is on). See Brevo Account Configuration.

Brevo organizes lists into folders. The connector imports that structure so your lists keep the same grouping in Odoo. See Folders Management.

Enable Auto Export Contact? on the list and set a filter. The scheduled action then exports matching contacts. See Auto Export.

Campaigns, Templates & Senders

In Email Marketing ‣ Mailings, click New, select a Brevo Template, a Brevo list and a Sender, then use Send, Schedule or Test. See Campaigns Management.

A sender is the From identity Brevo sends as. It must be verified in Brevo before it can be used. You can import senders from Brevo or create them in Odoo and export them. See Senders Management.

After sending, the scheduled actions import opens, clicks and bounces for the period set by Campaign Report (5 days by default). You can also click Fetch Report from Brevo on the mailing. See Campaign Report Duration.

Ecommerce

Click Activate Ecommerce on the account, then use the Product and Sales operation type to export categories and products, and Export/Update To Brevo on a sales order. See Ecommerce Management.

Customers → Products → Orders, so each product has a category and each order can reference its products. See Products Management.

Webhooks & Sync

They’re optional but recommended for real-time campaign stats. Live Sync sets up the campaign-event webhook in both systems with one click. See Webhook Configuration (Live Sync).

Brevo can only deliver to a public HTTPS URL. Confirm your Odoo instance is reachable over HTTPS and that Live Sync is enabled on the account.

No data is lost. The Process Brevo Queue scheduled action reconciles campaign stats on its next run, and you can re-run Fetch Report from Brevo manually.

Troubleshooting

  • Re-copy the full API key from Brevo.

  • Make sure the key hasn’t been deleted in Brevo.

  • Generate a fresh key if in doubt and confirm again.
